PRESS RELEASE

altVienna (OTS) Dr. Rakhat Aliyev, ex-Ambassador of Kazakhstan in Austria in his statement concerning recent publications in NEWS magazine and other mass-media about unjustified accusations in alleged crimes against Austrian bodies has stressed the following:

These statements about crimes and following feint of so-called sensations in mass media demonstrate that Kazakhstan with numerous side-effects of (in every way) tries to exert influence on society and public opinion of Austria. This is not only a real scandal, but grounds of the Parliamentary Commission’s investigation. Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev even here and now attempts to influence on Austria using every stick in book, including all illegal and criminal ones.

The dictatorial rulers in Kazakhstan still did not understand that such actions and pressure on justice and rule of law in Austrian jural state will not lead to any effect.

I will continue the political fight against it jointly with my friends and colleagues in Europe and the USA holding the same views. This method of accusations and insinuations against Austrian authorities in malfeasances in order to exert pressure is typical direction of Kazakh secret service’s activity.

The wives of disappeared bank managers as well as my former comrade Alnur Mussayev are in use in capacity of pawns thereto – Kazakh regime needs to achieve its illegal purposes. Kazakh agents even do not refrain from usage of kidnapping, blackmail and libel on the territory of Austria. All these acts, and not so-called “Aliyev Causa” are in the agenda of Parliamentary Commission on investigation of espionage, bribery and corruption of the representatives of Austrian official bodies by Kazakh agents.

Thereupon if it will be such wish, I am ready to make a statement at the Commission and highlight the facts and indicate details.
