Bezugnehmend auf die jüngsten in österreichischen Medien wiedergegebenen Angriffe auf mich, insbesondere die Äußerungen des früheren kasachischen Geheimdienstchefs Alnur Mussayev, halte ich fest, dass der Anlass für die aufgrund eines gemeinsamen Beschlusses aller im Parlament vertretenen Parteien eingesetzten Untersuchungsausschusses, nämlich die Frage, inwieweit der kasachische Geheimdienst die internen Angelegenheiten Österreichs und das öffentliche Leben in Österreich zu beeinflussen versucht, sich durch die jüngsten Ereignisse als berechtigt erwiesen hat.
